From 11 to 14 November the Metal-Expo international industrial exhibition was held in Saint Petersburg — a key annual event for Russia’s metallurgical industry and a number of foreign countries. For Petersburg Plant of Precision Alloys (PZPS), participation was not merely a demonstration of its own capabilities but an important milestone that defined the enterprise’s strategic course for the coming years.
For more than 30 years Metal-Expo has remained a key platform where ideas, technologies, and ambitions of leading metallurgical industry players meet. It is a place where business forms new supply chains, engineers exchange technical developments, and industrial giants set trends for years ahead.
In 2025 the exhibition once again proved its scale: hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of specialists presented solutions in ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, metal processing, rolling production, additive technologies, and materials science. That is why PZPS participation was a logical step in strengthening the enterprise’s position on the Russian and international market.
Below are the key results of PZPS participation in Metal-Expo. Before turning to them, it is important to note: both achievements were the result of systematic work by the enterprise team aimed at modernizing production and developing competencies in high-precision materials.
One of the central events of the Metal-Expo business program was signing a strategic agreement between Petersburg Plant of Precision Alloys and DRT Group. The document consolidates the start of a large-scale project — construction of a modern long-product rolling shop at the PZPS production site.
Introducing new technologies and modern equipment with automated control and monitoring systems at every stage will allow PZPS to increase output of high-precision alloys and expand the product range.
The shop will become one of the key links in the enterprise’s long-term strategy aimed at increasing production capacity and expanding the product range to meet the strictest consumer requirements in aerospace, energy, and high-tech industries.
Another important PZPS achievement was receiving the exhibition award “For the best exposition.” The plant stand, maintained in corporate style, became not merely the enterprise’s calling card but a true interactive space. Here guests could not only visually assess samples of precision alloys but also receive detailed consultations from the company’s leading process engineers and engineers.
This award is direct recognition by organizers and exhibition participants of PZPS’s high level of competence not only in metal production but also in presenting its products and building open, constructive dialogue with customers and partners.

Participating in Metal-Expo was exceptionally productive for Petersburg Plant of Precision Alloys. Signing a major strategic agreement and industry recognition strengthened the plant’s position as one of the leaders of Russian specialty metallurgy. These events set clear guidelines for further dynamic enterprise development — in the context of technological challenges and formation of new industrial standards.
Petersburg Plant of Precision Alloys demonstrated not merely readiness to follow industry trends but a drive to actively take part in creating them.
