On 19 April 2024 PZPS held a meeting dedicated to performance results for 2022 and 2023 and discussion of future plans
During 2022 and 2023 more than 30 new equipment units were commissioned. New hot- and cold-rolling mills were put into operation. An important event was acquiring a new production site where a new vacuum melting furnace and an electroslag remelting furnace are soon to be commissioned.
Over the reporting period 150 new jobs were created, including with the option of relocating specialists from the regions. Sanitary and hygienic working conditions were improved; production and office premises and the meal room were renovated. Social guarantees for employees were increased, including voluntary health insurance, sports events (football, volleyball, tennis), and compensation for children’s summer-camp vouchers.
Employees were regularly sent for training at external organizations. In addition, a training and methodology center was created for in-house worker training with assignment of skill grades.
A company development plan to 2028 was prepared, including transforming the enterprise in line with lean production principles.
Production results for 2022 and 2023 and the 2024 plan are shown in Figure 1. Growth in production is observed in 2023. Planned growth in 2024 is driven by significant investment in plant development, including production and analytical equipment.

In 2023 production was successfully mastered of:
The enterprise also mastered technologies for producing strip from medium- and high-carbon steels 60S2A, 65S2VA, 70S2KhA, U8A, and U10A.
Enterprise development makes it possible to plan significant growth in production volumes. Figure 2 shows the expected product output volume by 2030.

PZPS continues to develop as a multi-profile enterprise specializing in producing all types of precision, corrosion-resistant, heat-resistant, specialty, and carbon steel and alloy grades, as well as products from them as billets, hot- and cold-rolled strip, long products, wire, and spring, cutting, and heating elements.
Thanks to new approaches to enterprise management, investment in equipment, and human capital development, PZPS aims for steady growth and stronger leadership on the market.
