Petersburg Plant of Precision Alloys is preparing for a promising period of active growth and development. The company sets ambitious goals and plans a number of important steps to develop the enterprise and strengthen leadership in the industry.
As part of its growth strategy, PZPS seeks to expand its geographic presence and increase sales volumes. In the coming years the company plans to enter new markets, increase its share in existing segments, and attract new customers. In this connection it is preparing to introduce production of wire rod and wire from precision, specialty, and stainless alloys and steels.
To raise production efficiency, PZPS plans to introduce a number of modern technological solutions and to automate and optimize some business processes. Special attention will be given to a new shop equipped with a 500 hot-rolling mill and a 500 cold-rolling mill, which will help increase productivity and competitiveness.
PZPS will also focus on developing and introducing new product types to meet diverse customer needs. It is planned to organize deep processing from strip and wire into finished products, including shaped high-precision profiles, bands for endless saws and cutting tools, and small-diameter seamless drawn tubes.
Given the high knowledge intensity of precision alloy production, the plant will pay special attention to research and development work. Plans include developing new alloy formulations, optimizing process technology, and mastering innovative production methods, allowing the plant to retain leadership in the industry.
Understanding that engineering and scientific achievements are impossible without highly qualified personnel, the plant will continue to invest in employee training. It is planned to develop the PZPS training and methodology center into a leading additional education institution in Saint Petersburg. This will be a key step in providing the enterprise with specialists needed for successful implementation of all plant projects.
These directions form the basis for PZPS growth and development from 2024 to 2026. They will strengthen the plant’s market position and confirm its status as an innovative leader in precision alloy production.
